Marnie Hullin - Physiotherapist and Yoga Instructor.

Marnie is passionate about supporting and empowering women to ease into motherhood, and thrive throughout their lives.

Marnie practises a holistic approach to patient care and focuses on working collaboratively with my patients to optimise their path to wellness. She incorporates wellness and yogic principles into her everyday physiotherapy treatment, using breath work, feel-good movement, relaxation and meditation therapeutically. Marnie believes that most of us need some encouragement and help to learn how to slow down, take time out for ourselves, and to rediscover the joy of movement.

And that once we do, the overall health benefits we experience are endless.

Marnie graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2001.

Since then, she has worked in a number of settings in Bendigo, including hospitals, community health, private practice and outpatient rehabilitation, managing various caseload of musculoskeletal dysfunction and managing persistent pain. Very early on in her career, she developed an interest in women’s health and as time has progressed, the unique challenges faced by women throughout the lifespan have been a focus of Marnie’s practice and ongoing learning.

Marnie’s journey with yoga began 20 years ago - participating initially for the physical benefits of improving her performance on the netball and basketball courts. Very quickly, the other unexpected benefits of time on the yoga mat were what drew her to class - the opportunity to slow down and be still, breathe mindfully, and take time out from the busyness of life. Her love for yoga led her to complete a Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. Since then, Marnie can’t help but integrate all that she knows and loves about yoga into her physiotherapy work.

Marnie’s own experiences with assisted reproduction, pregnancy, birth and becoming a mother to two beautiful girls has fueled her craving for more and more knowledge along the way, leading her to complete further study in women’s and pelvic health, pre and post-natal yoga, birth preparation and yoga for fertility. Marnie has a passion for all things pregnancy, birth, post-partum and pelvic floor health, and supporting women and mothers throughout their lives to achieve their health and wellness goals and live their best lives.
